It is automation of the home, housework or household activity.

Home automation may include centralized control of lighting, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), appliances, security locks of gates and doors and other systems, to provide improved convenience, comfort, energy efficiency and security.

I rent a room in a house where everyone shares the wifi. The wifi is not always fast and occasionally drops for 10-30 minutes at a time. I want to control it via voice with an echo pop (doesn't have zigbee), and possibly Bluetooth.

I wanted to get a color smart bulb for my ceiling light and bathroom, both with colored lights.

1)Good idea to use Wifi Bulbs if wifi is spotty? 2)Are there any bulbs that connect to Alexa voice and Bluetooth? 3)Any company/model suggestions as well?

If your Wi-Fi is a bit iffy, consider opting for Bluetooth smart bulbs over Wi-Fi ones. It's a great choice for stable control. Check out the Nanoleaf Essentials Bulbs, it comes in cool colors, work seamlessly with Alexa, and use Bluetooth. Plus, its part of the Black Friday deals, so you might snag a sweet deal! Perfect fit for your setup.
