I've been burned from this before so I want to make sure that if I bought a FW13 with a USB-C module that I could connect this to my USB-C monitor hub and then the connected FW port will handle charging, display signal out, and peripheral up/downstream? Realistically I'll be connecting just KVM to this single port but it being able to supply power to the laptop at the same time would be really nice.

I expect to be connecting other devices to their own dedicated USB ports (Arduino for example)

just to chime in: I have mixed experiences with charging while connected to the display.

I'm using this monitor via Fedora 39, sometimes charging kicks in while connected to the monitor, sometimes it does not. I couldn't yet find the root cause, switching cables didn't do the trick (yet).

Will post something on the community forums eventually to have someone help me debug this
