I mean political issues I can understand, but natural tragedies? Why would an earthquake be controversial?

"why isn't the arch lit for X while was lit for Y? Is it because the FA is trying to downplay the X loss of lives?"
Now with a clever use of x,y variables you can have a template for making anything political
