Home automation is the residential extension of building automation.

It is automation of the home, housework or household activity.

Home automation may include centralized control of lighting, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), appliances, security locks of gates and doors and other systems, to provide improved convenience, comfort, energy efficiency and security.

Warning: Working with electricity can result in injury, property damage, or even death if it is not done properly. Please keep this in mind while assisting others. If you are not sure about what you are doing, hire a licensed professional.

Bought these roller blinds from Costco and they worked wonders with HomeAssistant -- until I accidentally reseted them and now they have lost memory for their upper and lower limits. They would close and open halfway.

HomeAssistant can open, close, and stop the blinds but that's all. There doesn't seems to be an option to set the upper and lower limits. I know like Zwave locks, you can set the user code directly -- is it possible for Blinds with Home Assistant?

If I were to use the Zwave Hub from Bali, it looks like it's possible, so there must be some sort of command or parameter that HomeAssistant isn't picking up. I looked through the Zwave alliance page, but lucked out.

Usually, the upper and lower limits can be adjusted via their Zwave app, or using a physical Bali Zwave remote. I have a 3rd party Zwave remote unrelated to Bali, but I have no idea if it works the same way.

Is there a hidden parameter somewhere or a way to clone it from the Zwave page?

tldr: Bali Blinds upper and lower limits can be adjusted via their official Zwave hub or physical remote -- anyway to do this from HomeAssistant or a 3rd party Zwave remote?
