What style of shelving? Wallmount or freestanding?
I've decked 3/4 walls in my room with twintrack shelving. It requires screws in the walls but lasts forever and can be reconfigured. Bunnings sells it, shelvingshop.com.au is a bit cheaper (but you still have to go to Bunnings for the wooden shelf boards).
Of course not necessarily an option if renting.
ooo what's the weight limit on their twintrack? I'm looking at putting some in the garage - not gonna be holding superheavy things, but would like a bit of beef.
edit: loool I look at their page and it's literally all garage images good one leya.
Weight capacity is usually specced on the brackets, not the track itself. I normally use the 17cm ones which are supposedly good for 100kg each.
awesome, cheers.
Yeah, I'm renting. Went for a freestanding cheap thing with shoe compartments.
My room is also slightly larger than a walk-in closet, so I don't have many free walls available anyway.
