Microsoft has a partnership with OpenAI. I’m sure Microsoft is happy to have someone in-house who knows all of those secrets.

Now, Microsoft hired one of the core people who created OpenAI.

He's apparently been integral to the growth of OpenAI, I've heard he personally interviewed the majority of folks currently in the company.

They still say they’re committed to the Open AI partnership in the article.

In practice I wonder if they’ll quietly withdraw in the next couple years as sama and co rebuild within Microsoft itself.
