Among us are represented the various reasons to keep data -- legal requirements, competitive requirements, uncertainty of permanence of cloud services, distaste for transmitting your data externally (e.g. government or corporate espionage), cultural and familial archivists, internet collapse preppers, and people who do it themselves so they're sure it's done right. Everyone has their reasons for curating the data they have decided to keep (either forever or For A Damn Long Time (tm) ). Hi All!

Am looking for some options please for an HDD or SSD to put into my NUC i5 gen10. The link is below:

I have already got a 512GB M.2 SSD, but there is another space for a 2.5” 7mm SATA SSD/HDD.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I am running Linux Mint and using it for plex mainly.

Preferably the biggest storage the better, I read online that the HDD with 2.5”/7mm don’t really go past 4tb, so if I want to go above that do I need to get a SSD?

7mm don't go past 2TB. You'll be lucky to find a 4TB at 9.5mm most are 15mm.

Your best bet is definitely an SSD. I'd opt for Samsung personally.
