This just smells like an excuse or even a "setup" to sue Nvidia. Would Nvidia really need to care about their parking software? This seems like small fries, and something out of the scope of Nvidia's interests. Someone just looking to get a piece of the pie.
NVIDIA are no saints.
The simpler possibility of them actually stealing secrets is far more likely.
Nvidia has a pretty decent sized internal team for self driving vehicle software.
They might not have been going out of their way to steal secrets (this employee was probably trying to make himself seem better), but they definitely have the usecase for it all
