I’m new here. We are remodeling and I’m interested in some outdoor lights, camera, doorbell that work well together. I have wired for Ethernet so could get a hub.

I’m looking at some Eufy products but wondering if I should consider others.

Three corners of the house have electrical receptacles for lights/cameras. Doorbell will also be wired.

More like a pain in the ass, cyber security is important, but the majority of people are not getting hacked in their homes, and the majority of a lot of the routers out there protect against it

Most people don’t consider themselves a target until they are. Not saying you need a enterprise level system with engineers constantly updating security, but knowing you’re secure from someone with a brain and public IP… priceless.

I guess that depends on your definition of "hacked." If someone sneaks in and takes your personal information and sells it to nefarious people, it is a hack. But if there is a "click to agree" it is business as usual.

Another vote for this. Has the most open platform, so future stuff is most likely to work with it. Also allows for full local control, (If your smart devices allow this) so you don't have to worry about a rug pull later.
