Fanless PC with Proxmox hosting Pfsense & Kubuntu 23.04 - Cooling ideas! (alien.top)

Hello Redditers,

i built a Proxmox homeLAB with Fanless Box that i bought from internet (CPU N5105 - RAM 16 - Storage Nvme 256). i'm running Pfsense 2.6 VM as home Firewall and gateway (LAN GW + WAN), and another VM with Kubuntu 23.04 OS.

Temperature while using just Pfsense is around 40°

Temperature while using both VMs Pfrense and Kubuntu is around 60°

i'm looking now for a solution to cool down the Box temperature (thinking of small fan but afraid that will be noisy specially i sleep near the setup)

T_JUNCTION for N5105 is 105 C.

You don't need to cool it at least until it hits 80.

i bought a fan connected via usb, and i added script that trigger the fan once the tempreture goes beyond 70 degrees and stop once below 50 degrees
