Copper plated aluminum??? Seriously Asus? How could the engineers at ASUS not know that coolant flow inside the block will slowly strip away the coating copper and expose the aluminum? Do they really need a few bucks more margin by going this route?

Don't worry, ASUS is already working on the Z890 Formula, which will get a premium block made from the finest pig iron.

I'm sure the engineers knew, but yeah they'll be trying to save cents. Gigabyte made the very same mistake on several of their Waterforce blocks for a couple years. There was a whole slew of users reporting stripped material and corrosion in their loops.

I mean, just copper plating on aluminium alone is asking for galvanic corrosion issues.
