We are digital librarians. Among us are represented the various reasons to keep data -- legal requirements, competitive requirements, uncertainty of permanence of cloud services, distaste for transmitting your data externally (e.g. government or corporate espionage), cultural and familial archivists, internet collapse preppers, and people who do it themselves so they're sure it's done right. Everyone has their reasons for curating the data they have decided to keep (either forever or For A Damn Long Time (tm) ). Along the way we have sought out like-minded individuals to exchange strategies, war stories, and cautionary tales of failures.

What software do you guys use to burn CDs with Raw Mode? (alien.top)

I have some bin/cue files for PS1 games and VCDs that I’ve got from the internet. Imgburn spits out miscompares when verifying. I’ve read up that burning CDs in Raw mode would help but the software to do that has either been discontinued and hard to find. What software do you use for that?

I needed to burn some Samsung NUON games recently, and I found that an old version of Alcohol 120% worked fine with the unusual format needed, none of the 'current' apps I tried would play ball.
