Why do all those HT (AnyTone, Baofeng) programming cables have to not only look alike but are also almost always unlabeled?

My Wouxon is the same type but it is a totally diffident color so kudos to those folks. Everyone else, slap your damn name on it!

Our company used to sell baofeng and we had a random 3rd party china company we bought those cables from. Apart from a 3.3v and 5v version, they're all the same.

Maybe for Baofengs but I was going to copy my Baofeng's programming to Chirp on a new computer. I grabbed 2 cables which I thought were Baofeng and it turned out neither were. I'm not home so I'll have to wait.
