Not a huge gamer but I dabble. Use a lot of Adobe products , and started getting into video editing. I have a 2080ti that’s been just a beast over the past two years. I have the lga2066 socket 7800x , and it’s been great but looking to upgrade to something a little faster , any suggestions on a lga2066 intel proc for my asus x299-xe mobo ? I am maxed out with a Gskill DDR4 4000mhz 128gb kit (8 sticks)

Thanks in advance yall.

7980xe's are dirt cheap nowadays just get 1 of those.

However, be careful about your VRM if it is those first batch of X299 boards. The first batch of those boards has underpowered VRM's due to the board partners severely underestimating the powerdraw of the 18 cores, and they have a tendency to overheat.

If your board is one of those, you may want to top out with something less like a 7940X. Make sure to have adequate airflow.
