Hello, I'm writing my first post about an issue I'm having after assembling my new PC.

All the components are well connected, when I turn on the computer everything lights up, (leds, fans, graphics card, AIO etc...). But once I plug DP or hdmi cable into my card... nothing, no BIOS.

I think the problem is that I've installed a 14th generation i7 on an ASUS prime z790-A motherboard and the bios isn't up to date enough.

What I'm not sure about is:

- How can I update the BIOS with this processor?

- Do you need a 13th gen processor for that?

- And above all, some of my motherboard's indicator LEDs are still on (white = VGA) green/yellow = boot. Knowing that generally VGA problem is linked to the graphics card.

So I'm wondering if updating the bios will solve the VGA led problem.Has anyone had a similar problem and found a way to make it work?

Here's my configuration:

-Hyte y40 case (so riser for vertically mounted card)

-Rtx 3070ti Vision

-i7 14700kf

-Asus Prime Z790 A wifi

Hello little update here, I'm currently typing on my new PC. Finally!
After struggling for a long time I found a solution. For those who have the same problem as me, try this:

USE HDMI CABLE, not DP
If your processor has integrated graphics, use the mobo's HDMI port, otherwise you need to get a compatible processor (13th gen in my case).
Update your BIOS
And finally (after reinstalling your processor), turn on your PC and connect the monitor to the GPU using an ... HDMI cable!
