Yes, I searched on both this sub and on the internet, but couldn't find anything. I found a list of potential software here: https://alternativeto.net/software/wetransfer/?platform=self-hosted.

There are some amazing pieces of software, but I need something a bit more specific, that I am almost completely sure exists, because my use-case is not very niche:

I want to be able to upload files either only from the local network or only with a password. I want to open the port so I can share stuff with outsiders, but I don't want random people to upload stuff. And it has to run as a Docker container. And yes, there are some pieces of software that offer Google Drive-like features, but that's just way too much for me. I don't need any advanced features and I only see that as overhead, as I already have other means of organizing my data for personal use. I just need time-limited password-protected uploads on a WeTransfer/Zippyshare kind of thing for when I need to share stuff.

Basically I do photography as a hobby and I would like to easily share files. But I don't want my server to be used by others for uploads, lol.

Yes, I would absolutely adore if end-to-end encryption would be available and stuff like that. I am currently running PsiTransfer and I was thinking of trying Lufi too, but neither seem to offer the upload password thing I need.

So, if you are using or you know of similar software, please don't hesitate to let me know.

Thanks a lot in advance! 😁
