Was from late 90s / early 00s I think

Had an insane ego. Story I remember was psychologists tested the team and this guy hit a perfect score. He was incapable or recognising personal error, if something went wrong on the pitch it couldn't possibly have been his fault...

Does this sound familiar to anyone?
