CBP reported seizing 27,000 pounds of fentanyl, or nearly double last year’s record and more than five times the rate of 2020, the last year under President Trump.

In other words, trump’s administration was significantly worse at detecting and apprehending those smuggling fentanyl, and bidens administration has actually caught fives times more than trump?

Considering no administration has control over attempts to smuggle, only control over catching and preventing at the border. How many pounds total year on year was successfully smuggled over? How much, caught and uncaught in total, has crossed the border?

It makes me laugh how conservatives will seeth over the number of “illegals coming over with drugs” but then also seeth over more of them being caught?

You could also argue that the increase in apprehensions is proportional to an increase in the number of immigrants/amounts of contraband.

If you triple the numbers, you're going to have triple the results if your methods remain constant.
