I created this community on Lemmy.World because I am giving up reddit and would still like a forum to discuss my favorite games.

This community is for discussion of any zelda game, not limited to the current switch games.

Link to the Past for me, but it's 100% nostalgia goggles.

The game that got me into video games. I recently played it this year (after this game turned 30) and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's amazing that I still had the game almost committed to 100% memory. I only had to look up a few things that I had forgotten and didn't want to spend the time getting lost in the game to figure it out for myself (I'm old now and can't be bothered. :D )

Meanwhile, I played A Link Between Worlds when it came out on 3DS, and that game hit so many nostalgic notes. The gameplay mechanic and 3D effect was so well done.

Love these two games tremendously, but they're not my favorite Zelda. That crown goes to the wind waker.
