I had the smallest amount of hope the offense would keep the good vibes from the past two weeks going. Hope dashed.

This team on paper should've been better than last years team and it isn't. That's on the coaches. So eberflus and Getsy probably out after this season.

If fields misses time he's most likely done with the bears after this season. He has hasn't been good consistently enough to warrant moving forward with him.

No idea what to think of poles. Hes put us in good financial shape for future, and we have draft capital, which are two great things. But his picks are still a bunch of question marks that aren't quite developing. Do we really know how good brisker and gordon are? Dexter or Pickens? Stevenson, roschon, or Scott? We have hopes for some of them but nobody is consistent. Hopefully Darnell wright is the one guy we know for sure is a stud.

Am I overreacting in thinking coaches, qb, and gm are all gone after this season and we start over yet again?

I think Poles gets more time. He took over a team in free fall and saw it crash into the ground. It'll take more than one off-season to build a competitive team. I like what Poles has done with draft capital. Claypool is a big mark against him. On paper it was a good move. At the time, I recall a lot of excitement, further fueled by talk that GB was after him.

I don't know about Flus. Maybe one positive thing I can say about him is I believe the defense has been playing a little better since he took over. I thought the rule used to be that coaches got three years. (Trustman was a fairly recent counterexample).

I agree regarding Fields. It was unfortunate the circumstances he's found himself in, but I think good quarterbacks would find more ways to have success. He's going to have to play great the rest of the season too stay in Chicago. I'd love to see it, but I'm not very hopeful.
