Seems like a real stretch to claim religious persecution because everyone in the country has to attend a regular school. Nothing prevents parents from also providing a religious education, but kids have to go to school, they can't just be homeschooled. What minority is being persecuted?

It was ruled against their appeal in 2013, and since then they've been living in the country on deferred action (something conservatives consistently fight against). I'm not understanding why this one is controversial.
