Wait, you can make your toolbar taller?
Yep, the +/- on the right lets you do that. I was almost done with act 1 before I figured that out.
I was half way through Act 3 when I did
Yep, i like 4 tall. Not too imposing on the screen, but you get just enough coverage on the toolbar for abilities.
That said sometimes I take Gale up to 6 rows. Spliting by spellslot helps a bunch for pure Wizard.

You can go up to 6? Mine caps at 4 for some reason.
I've got saves with it. I haven't tried this with my last 2 runs as one was solo and the last didn't use Gale outside story mission so I didn't customize his toolbar.
