We also had/have former german pilots teaching in China, they gather so much information about the West and their tactics.
If, after spending so much time and treasure training our warriors, western nations won't pay their capable able bodied veterans for their high tech highly prized skills, there are others who will

You probably can't outbid a foreign government that wants a handful of ex-military experts

Even if you paid ALL of them $5m/yr, China would pay a few $20m/yr. It's not like there's a bidding site that shows the guys who've been contacted. You either pay them all this outrageous sum or none.
You aren't even able to follow this simple conversation.
I'm very surprised this isn't just classified as top secret, prohibiting the pilots from offering training outside of sanctioned military schools.
