I'll probably sign up for Peacock premium to get the WC coverage. I have no problem paying for content, I just dislike sports streaming platforms that have ridiculous blackout rules (looking at you NHL).

Now that brings up the question of what will be the future of TRN???

American fans need not fret, as the platform is developed over time it's more than likely that TRN will find a home on RP TV and all the improvements fans have been asking for will be given out there.

So like TRN getting acquired by RugbyPass. I'd certainly be willing to pay for TRN, especially if it meant I didn't have to do the extra incognito browser that I close and reopen at halftime to watch the Fox Sports broadcasts live. Having one platform with both MLR and international, with no delay in broadcast, would surely be worth a subscription fee.

Rugby is the only reason why I have Peacock. I also got it on discount so that helps too. Sign up via email - every few months they come out with annual discounts.

I would pay for TRN, but not if they continue to use their less-than-stellar AV providers. Most of the announcers are good, but the video production could be much better. If you watch any other rugby game in the world, then watch a rugby game on TRN, you can definitely tell the difference.

One thing I think TRN has shown is that there is a solid rugby base in the US. They need to acknowledge what they have, and understand that if they want more viewers than they have to provide an even better product to the fans.

The AV quality on TRN is due to them using whatever the venue provides plus not having directors and cameramen used to the sport. Both are improving, thanfully, with experience and money.
