When I say "bazinga brain" that linked headline is EXACTLY what I mean. Put it in the UlyssesT slang dictionary with that as a given example.
Also, knowing how techbro creeps tend to think and act, chances are that any sufficiently advanced VR treats would just be used by those techbro creeps to get off to human suffering from new and exciting temporary perspectives, the same way they like to visit impoverished areas for short bits at a time to get off to the misery, like that 90s movie Strange Days (CW: SV if you look that up).
Come to think of it, in a lower tech way, THIS HAS ALREADY HAPPENED.
