Anyone got any predictions ahead of the ban list? I think it will be out in around two weeks, yeah?

Some people think Kashtira Arise-Heart will finally get banned since Kashtira has been strong for so long.

I’ll be interested to see if they touch Purrely at all.

For my own very selfish reasons, I hope Rikka Sunavalon remains completely untouched, but I acknowledge that the deck feels fairly consistent and very unfair to play against. As far as predictions go, I’m really not sure. If the two top decks got meaningful hits, it kinda seems like this one will too, otherwise it might be the only “tier zero” deck in the format… Though untouched Dragon Link might be able to compete?

I think (and hope!) Eradicator Epidemic Virus will finally get hit, and that Labrynth will remain otherwise untouched. Anti-Spell Fragrance and DBarrier seem likely to get banned. So many decks build “unbreakable” boards now, why also give the player who goes first an out-of-engine, out-of-archetype auto win floodgate? There already isn’t enough back-and-forth for many people’s liking, and this makes that even more dramatic.

Only thing I hope is they limit kash fenrir to one. It’s so annoying seeing it in litterally every deck because if you start with one you have 3 recursions of a targeted banish. I think it would be hard for them to fully ban the floodgate traps as it is one of the few ways non-competitive rogue decks can compete decently.

Yeah, I agree — searches itself, AND it’s easy to summon.
