I'm not sure what your experience was, but I'm finding it frustrating in certain particular ways. I feel like it's getting worse in that every time I take the kids out I'm unfortunate enough to encounter someone absolutely off their heads. The kids look to me for an explanation. Sometimes it's mentally ill people having a bit of a tough time, and some understanding/sympathy is called for. Sometimes it's a case of, "and that's why you don't do drugs, kids!" But sometimes people are just jerks, and it's hard to explain.
I think the time of day / on the w/e is a huge factor. In the middle of the day I'd say it's likely at its worst depending on route.
Funnily enough travelling home at 2am on a night tram I've found to be the least eventful for me at least heh.
Least eventful for me would have to be the earliest services I caught to get home from night shift jobs or to get to early shifts. You just made me think: geez I've had some shit jobs!
Unfortunately that is the experience even outside of PT these days :(
