Timesheet time!
Now, what on earth have I done this week?
I know what I did Monday, but the rest of the week has been a bit of a blur.

Timesheets give me so much anxiety for this reason...

Hey Nath. You seem like a lovely person. I have some questions for you if you don't mind. What does the A mean next to your name? Does it mean Administrator or something else? Why does the comments collapse after 300? Why does the spinny thing sometimes cock up and repeat comments or just not show them or in a different order? If you could shed some light on the matter or even better fix them we would be most grateful. Might even throw some nice emojis your way. Thank you.

Yep, the A means I'm a site admin. I've known Lodion for about 20 years and when I saw who was running the instance, I let him know that I was indeed "that Nath". I've been helping him run the place since.

I am not experiencing the 300 comment thing everyone is talking about. It'll be a Lemmy limitation, I assume. The server software is still a little buggy. We're quick to leap on new versions of the Lemmy software when they release them.

Can you explain the issue better? When a thread hits 300 comments you can't see them all any more?

I use wefwef.app on iOS mostly and it basically collapses threads of posts here after the first one

Only happens after say about 320 comments.

I've taken a screen shot of what happens when it hits 300

Now if you press the 2 more replies sometimes you see the replies sometimes it's a spinny circle thing that goes around and around like its try to load but never does. Sometimes the original post just duplicates its self. If it helps I'm using Chrome on my phone. Others have this problem too.

yes, I experience the spinny circle too and the duplicate original posts

I'm using a desk top and lemmy

Hopefully Nath can work something out 🤞. Thanks for your input.
