What made you want to pick up bass guitar as an instrument? (sopuli.xyz)

I started off playing guitar for a while, but after hearing the bass line for the song Big Empty by Stone Temple Pilots, I was completely mind-blown and had to learn how to play that. Never looked back!

I was a huge Beatles fan in middle school and loved Paul McCartney's bass lines (still do). My uncle is also a bass player so that influenced it a bit.

What made me want to stick with it though, is just how much fun it is.
