I guess it's good to keep in mind, but are people having issues with drift on their sticks? I've been using my deck quite intensively and so far had no issues.

Same here.

I read these articles as a nice piece of mind for future me to have a solution should I ever need it.

But my steamdeck joysticks haven't been an issue at all so far.
