I don't care what OS I am using, desktop shortcuts and icons get turned off immediately. ew
Yeah, my desktop is just basically a place for a picture, can't stand having anything on it
i made a heart out of the shit that piled up on my desktop and cant delete anything now
Only thing I have is desklet thingies that show me hard drive space on my leftmost monitor.

on kde I like to create a folder and put all shortcuts there since it has this cool featurewm where you can see what's inside a folder on the desktop without oppening it
