Why would you even need a digital ID? My digital driver's licence works great, accepted everywhere I go already and I've not carried a wallet for more than a year.

Transport card - digital Credit card - digital Loyalty cards - digital Drivers licence and all types of permits - digital Private health and Medicare - digital

Which place demands a physical copy of anything thesedays and moreover since it's working fine why do we need another

Thought I had seen some lawyer's opinion that if you unlocked your phone, eg to show a digital drivers license, and the police alleged criminal activity, they could seize your phone and would then be able to search through your phone

They wouldn't need a warrant to get your passcode because you unlocked it. They just happened to seize it when it was unlocked.

With phone unlocked, anyone could order food, grab an uber, buy whatever they want off Amazon and probably drain my bank account - the 2FA comes back to the phone lol.

So, for now, I have a little card that has my ID on it. It's worked really well, and I don't even need to charge it!

Think before you go digital ID for anything.
