  1. Is this a ploy for Alex Antic to collect personally identifiable information?
  2. I’m not going to give my data to a Liberal politician (why are they called “Liberal” - the Labor party is more liberal; the “Liberal” party should change their name to “Conservative”)
  3. Why don’t we see what is proposed before opposing it?

a) Personally I don’t oppose the concept, but I don’t trust anyone to handle the data appropriately

b) I find the idea of locking everyone in to an Android/Apple duopoly offensive (myGovId is the perfect example of how not to implement this) — this may be the final nail that converts me to dumping my “Smart” devices and moving to a dumb phone.

Digital IDs were introduced in 2015 by the coalition.

This partition is 100% bs.

They're called liberal because they're economically liberal (low taxes, pro business), not socially liberal.

compared to conservative, yes, but no real leftist would call liberals anything better than centrists

Liberalism is not progressivism. The US never had a popular worker's party and instead they have two liberal parties.

Our own Liberal party mirrors the US divide between the moderates (think Turnbull) and right factions (Morrison)
