I'm buying one as soon as they publish the how-to manual for the GPU upgrade.
It is actually shipped with a Radeon RX 7700S but on the website they say:
Can I upgrade the discrete graphics card later? Yes! If you ever need more graphics performance in the future or if you purchase your Framework Laptop 16 with only an Expansion Bay Shell, you can upgrade to a new Graphics Module with a new GPU installed. We publish step-by-step guides you can follow to perform the upgrade yourself.
Except that the step-by-step guide for that is nowhere to be found and I don't think a lot of manufacturer are already building GPU with this form factor.
Finger crossed for the future, but I definitely want one with those useless hence obligatory LED spacers around the keyboard.
Yeah, this product is probably not close to mass producion stage, since framework 13 AMD havent entered mass production yet.
I imagine all the guides are unlikely to be avaliable until most of the designs are ironed out.
