If you really want better candidates then help get money out of politics and get some RCV/approval voting going.

The hatred that comes with conservatism is the reason why it is so unpopular. I suggest you look inward.
What does truth matter if you can't accomplish anything? You'd rather just sit there and pat yourself on the back for being the bigger man while while everything you actually want out of politics gets thrown aside by the people willing to do what it takes?
I'm not alone, nor are my goals impossible.
While not all of the candidates I have voted for have succeeded, a number of them have.
