There's also this universal community search tool you can try using. If you find a community, just copy its URL and paste it in /search to subscribe to it here. This just goes to show that while there might not be many local communities here on lemmy.one yet, the beauty of the fediverse means that doesn't matter!

Hey, I'm looking for a community with possum pics and memes, like either r/possums or r/possummemes type content

I can't help but notice you have "possum" in your name. Do you have any possum related communities?

I just tried to sign up and verified my email but the login button is still just spinning. I'm guessing it's because you haven't approved my signup?

Yeah, the login approval flow needs a bit of work - you just get the spinny if you're denied login for any reason. Should be good to go now!
