I feel like it will, I swear he has every redditor pissed off at him right now.
Because there's no way they'll manipulate that number in the database.
Could we theoretically pay reddit for API access and log / monitor any changes to the vote counts that way ?
I think it's still free till the 1rst of July, so, if someone has experience they could do something like that

There are actually some legit anti-spam reasons that reddit has been obfuscating vote counts and totals for a long time now. Even if this wasn't a known phenomenon, I don't think I'd trust the API call results anyway.
Actually that's a really good point, and I should have thought of that because I'm actually a programmer lol
They didn't bother with the announcement of the API prices. Only 4% upvoted.
