Bro you entered this thread with a whataboutism, and everyone here agrees that what you went through is horrible and should never happen, but it appears to some of us as though you're operating with the intent of conceptually separating domestic abuse and gender from each other, which is unhelpful because it's usually built in no small part upon gendered dynamics.
