Oh God. Please don't view this Ivy League institution as a victim.

Trump is a fascist, but that doesn't make Columbia "good".

They're just feeling the possibility of a little blowback from what Ivy league institutions and their graduates have collectively done this country. Boo-hoo.

Government funding which is based on the petty whims of those in power is a dangerous step. Columbia can be bad, but democratic norms being subverted, for petty or nefarious purposes can be worse.
