Sony doesn't want to lose console sales so they put it on PC later for people who will never buy a PS5. It's unlikely that they will sell on PC day one unless they sales were so good it was worth changing strategies. Xbox changed strategies after seeing how well their PC ports sold.

They used to never port stuff to PC. They will stop making ports if people don't buy them. They don't need the PC market, they have lasted two decades without it.

You’re honestly right. People who pirate new games that are readily available hurt the gaming landscape. I can understand pirating games that are unavailable through marketplaces or are so old that they’re community supported but if you’re pirating something like the game being discussed you’re only hurting the chances of Sony bringing more exclusives to PC and ultimately contributing to games being less available and accessible. There are many ethical situations where pirating totally makes sense but if you’re trying to argue you’re in the ethical right by pirating newly released games then you have some wires crossed. If someone really were against Sony ethically they wouldn’t play Sony’s games at all. Playing the game and telling people you had a good time is literally propping up the thing you supposedly don’t want to support.
