That's my point, with a good producer (or more accurately writer/director) we could get something excellent. I agree it's a change, and there is reason to be concerned, but with the right people we can get an excellent Bond.
Hell if you look at the Broccoli years, the Brosnan & Craig era, you have great films, good films, bad films and terrible films. I appreciate the work she did, but the end product did not always come out fantastic.
If the concern is someone new coming in, first acknowledge that while Broccoli may have grown up with Bond, it didn't come into her control until the Brosnan era. So it's changed hands before.
Second, look at something like Star Wars. Lucas sold it to Disney, and admittedly Disney fucked up when it came to the sequels. They actually did OK with the first, but lack of planning after that lead to two sequels that were ultimately bad.
Alternatively, look at Filoni & Favreau. Overall I'd say they've done a great job with Star Wars. Is it perfect? No, they've had missteps. But hey, so did a few Bond films.
