How is it appropriate for police to use their office and reputation as police to try to influence an election in the first place? It's very important for our police not to be partisan, and to be seen that way by the public. But we all know they love the convoy, antivax bullshit, and other sketchy politics. How far from that is (eg) gay and trans bashing? They shouldn't be allowed to have this political pressure group at all.
