The Place For Dueling
This is a place for advocates/practitioners of the concept known as dueling (old west dueling, sword dueling, etc. doesn't matter what variant so as long as it's a kind allowed by the law) and perhaps its mainstream revival.
Rules:
-
Everything must relate to dueling in some way.
-
The law, and instances of the law being broken, may exist as mere topics, but we won't allow any efforts of people to actually break the law.
-
If someone wants to issue a challenge, all the terms and conditions must be explained in the challenge and subsequent discussion. No unspoken rules.
-
If someone challenges someone else to a duel and the other person accepts, the terms and conditions must be honored by both sides, and calling off the duel would require consent from both sides. If they aren't, it qualifies as an instant ban.
-
Declining a duel might come with some considerable detriments on a democratic level, but the need to accept a duel is not set in stone.
-
You can only duel, in the words of Shakespeare, sound minds, and ones whose efforts are knowable.

You say that around me and those who even suggest things might not be as everyone assumes, but then you imply otherwise around the people making the claims, as most people you claim to speak for imply about themselves. Which, along with the fact this idea is the response to the fact nobody has asked me for my perspective or reasons (which is an annoying trend at this point), is the reason for this now. It is an innocent way of going about it that has a productive outcome. What are you, anti-socialism? Rather than allow this to become something and for me to prove I'm a woman of my word through honoring a bet rather than some narcissist who finds her way out of things, you'd rather be sadistic with a remark about popcorn while trying to play doctor and say that amoral aspects about me confirm narcissistic tendencies? One shouldn't lie to themself.
