Exactly what I thought. I felt Jan clearly landed more in round 3. Alex's leg kicks were nice but he didn't even land a lot of them in round 3 and Jan had some as well. So I had Jan winning even before the takedown which according to my understanding of the rules (damage and effective grappling!) should be largely inconsequential when it comes to scoring. Still, I thought that was the icing on the cake. Even had the word robbery in mind after the decision as UFC probably wanted Alex to win. Anyway, seeing people disagree in good faith is a nice reality check as usual. Would love to hear some reasoning for it though.
