@PhilipTheBucket Is Congress going to have the balls to do anything about this as the executive branch tries to strip away powers from the House and the Senate. Article 1 doesn’t matter anymore to these fascist Republicans? Did he tell them last night at Doral that there won’t be any more elections so their positions are solid if they just stick with him? #uspol

That's exactly what some of his fans wanted. I know a conservative that hates the legislative branch because "the liberals" sneak too many things into laws. He'd rather everything be done "short and sweet" by executive order

@FoxyFerengi Did you talk to them today? I had a spat today with a friend I know who voted for and he didn’t want to be bothered with it because he said “my son is stressing me out so bad that my doctor had to raise my blood pressure medicine from 40 mg to 160 mg.” That son is in his 40s, a drug addict and alcoholic and the father still pays all of his bills The kid is a felon(pulled a gun on a neighbor)on probation. If it doesn’t affect them, they don’t care.

I unfortunately have him as a professor, so I get to talk to him 5 days a week. I haven't talked to him about politics this week, but maybe I'll see what he says tomorrow. He's extremely unconnected to the world, I mean he doesn't even own a cell phone and still uses yahoo for search. So I doubt he actually knows the extent of the issues facing us
