We are still in this together, but "this" is going to be real different in the very near future. This demands a different kind of "we."

The French Resistance during Nazi occupation played important roles delivering downed Allied airmen back to safety, supplying military intelligence, and acts of sabotage.

The Underground Railroad is estimated to have brought 100,000 freedom seekers to safety between 1810 and 1850.

It's time.

(2) A person commits the offense of trespass by an illegal alien if such person: (a) Is an illegal alien; (b) Knowingly enters this state and remains in this state; and (c) Is physically present in this state at the time a licensed bounty hunter or a peace officer apprehends such person.

(3) (a) The offense of trespass by an illegal alien under this section is a felony for which the authorized term of imprisonment is life imprisonment without eligibility for probation, parole, conditional release, or release except by act of the Governor or the natural death of such person.

I hope no one ends up needing to use or help facilitate the use of a new underground railroad. And if they do, I really hope they don't reach out to me for help on their journey. Or anyone else that might seem sympathetic to that person's plight. That would be bad. It would also be bad if those folks knew who their allies were, naturally, because those folks would quickly get rooted out probably. Anyway, I hope people remain vigilant about helping maintain the safety of those at risk from danger at the hands of the very most deranged and problematic people in our society that are trying to ruin our American culture of awesomeness and make us less great.

Edit: And if these hypothetical people reaching out were to use a VPN of some sort, or some other means entirely, to try and protect their identity, boy oh boy let me tell you, that's a paddlin'.
