Not to defend Nestle, but they did sell their US water business. In case you want to point fingers, it's a different soulless multinational conglomerate stealing LA water.
I'd be willing to bet that, if you go up far enough, Nestle owns the multinational conglomerate they sold that business to.
seems like every state should emminent domain the water resources. Letting them be in private hands is a recipe for mass inequity.
It gets complicated when upriver states do that and downriver states don't have any left. Water rights are ridiculous and government agencies already have too much power. The people should not need permission to have a rain barrel. We need to take the power back.
Where do they need permission for a rain barrel (barring and structural permits or other extreme scenarios)?
