I just realized the mascot is clearly a bald eagle, misidentified by the club as an "Alaskan golden eagle." Many, many layers of weirdness here. https://www.sslazio.it/en/la-nostra-casa/olimpia

bald eagles look like golden eagles until they are a couple years old and then they start to get the white feathers on their head and tail (when puberty hits)
