You seem to be trying to paint fighting oppression as unhip or futile.

You be irreverent as you want, I still intend to point out and push back against hurtful and hateful tropes.
Oppression is bad; opposing it is good.
And you're very special and important for doing it. Especially by writing comments online, which is the most important way to fight oppression. I'm glad you're so invested in this.
