I always found his slightly dour nature quite endearing but I have to say he was not very inspiring in his recent Beyond the Grid interview when asked to explain Alpine's present and future ambitions.

I honestly had a worse opinion of him after that Beyond the Grid episode. I appreciated how level headed and logical he was, but he also made a bunch of excuses. When they asked him about the 100 races the first thing he did was move the goalpost. I hate to say it but the dude just isn't cut throat enough to be an F1 TP. I would love to see him in a different series though. I think with the right drivers his level headed approach would work.
